Follow the tutorial Maven Creating Wonder Applications selecting woframework-archetype during project creation instead. Manually enter all the parameters, e.g. WebObjectsVersion, WonderSupport, etc. Then continue the steps in Maven Creating Wonder Applications .

Currently the woframework-archetype requires all the parameters that the woapplicaton-archetype uses, but you must manually enter them, there are no defaults. Then fix the pom, etc.
